i'm not a v good rapper, but i will try and cover Lollipop by Lil W(eezy baby)ayne on my new guitar. i'm just into playing anything, i just want to use it every minute of errydayyy but i have been mostly playing BJM (so easy on acoustic guitar..who'd have thought..) and white stripes which i didn't do so well at........hmmmmmmmmm maybe because i suck? i wish someone could teach me but i dunno anybody and i'm too shy to get lessonssss
also i think i might just take 1 or 2 papers at uni, blah blah blah i'd probably be bored of work if i didn't have uni to think about as well. my goal is to make some ling friends because i never talk to anybody in the class. maybe i'll go to the first class drunk hah D:
also i just found out the cribs are playing chch end of feb, omg omg omg i used to be such a cribs fan, havne't heard their new album, and wtf of all wtfs - johnny marr is now a member?? i'm confused. and concussed.

omg i just saw the fantastic mr fox. omg, it's soooooo wonderful i want to see it another 100000 times. i'm not just jumping on the wes anderson can do no wrong thang, although i do believe that to some extent, but this movie is complete magic.

anyway, i am excited about stuffs. making things. cooking. moving out. we found a nice flat but it seems it's in demand so we have competition..ugh. finding a flat that lets you have a cat is hard. want to put penny in the organics bin sometimes. just kidding, but man, the places i've seen that at the end say NO PETS make me grumpy. i'm undecided about florence and the machine. i am happy about the joanna newsom/jens lekman, i like jens lekman so much, and i love lyttleton so it's like a d-r-e-a-m. i've had tummy issues this week so i've been pretty much living on ginger beer and gingernuts. it helps a lot. i'm looking forward to my day off tomorrow but not working the weekend, so mind-numbing. my romanian co-worker today got into a massive fight with a customer, it was so funny, she's so blunt and does away with formalities but sometimes the customers take that the wrong way and the results = a trainwreck. i'm too nice i think, and i sugar coat all the bullshit so i've never had that reaction. customer service is not so bad, although i suck at saying hi to everyone that walks in so i have to physically force myself to yell out "HIHOWAREYA" (in my best kiwi accent) to anyone who comes in, in hopes of being mistaken for a bubbly shopkeeper. it works, sometimes.

i found this quote in russh magazine (lol, such a profound source of wisdom...) and i'm living it right now. i'm copying everything from everywhere pasting it in my head/writing on a million little pieces of paper, and i can't wait till i get some time off work to get creative.

i'm going to make a 3-course vegetarian meal for my family and dafydd either on monday or tomorrow and i'm going to take photos so everyone can be jealous of my awesome cooking skills. lol i am so modest. i bet i've jinxed myself now and i'll burn/overcook everything. my hair smells like grilled eggplants with miso paste.
